Summary.

Non-regulated clients can use REG/Hosting to expand their range of services with use cases based on the use of account information service (AIS) and payment initiation service (PIS) - without having to register their own AIS and PIS license*. BANKSapi takes over the BaFin-compliant operation of your end customer application as a liability umbrella.

*Since 2018, BaFin obliges service provider to register if payment account data is accessed or apply for a license if payments are triggered via online banking.

REG/Hosting

The BANKSapi "REG/Hosting-as-a-Service" allows end users to download their account balances and movements from banks and trigger payments from the BANKSapi front end of the BANKSapi.

The end customer application including the API of BANKSapi is technically operated and monitored by BANKSapi.
